My grandfather was an amazing person, I have many fond memories of the time I spent with him. When I was getting horses, he built a shelter for them, helped feed them when I couldn’t, and so many others.


One of my favourite memories by far was one  holiday with the cousins. We had a Garbage Disposal In the one sink in our house on the farm. 


It hadn’t worked in quite some time. So, alas, grandpa and my Dad set out to fix it, after a couple of hours they plugged it in, pressed the button and… Nothing. 


Until we realised it had worked, the button did do something but it was NOT turning on the garbage disposal… It turned on the hallway light! After a few silent moments, we all broke down laughing! We could hardly breathe. What made it even better was grandpa storming to the hallway and back to where the garbage disposal was plugged in going “No man” “Ugh, come on. No man!” Eventually, he too, crackled up laughing.
